From August 15th to 18th, the Fourth Chinese Frontier Academic Conference on Cytoskeleton, organized by the Cell Structure and Behavior Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology and hosted by Shanxi Agricultural University, was held at the Xingyuan Hall on the Taigu Campus. A total of 224 experts and scholars from 55 universities and research institutions across the country gathered to discuss the latest research advances and future directions in the field of cytoskeleton. During the "Young Scientist Forum" session of the conference, Luo Shenjia (Second from the right in the figure below), a member of our laboratory, delivered a presentation titled "In situ cryo-electron tomography reveals the progressive biogenesis of basal bodies and cilia in mouse ependymal cells," and was awarded the conference's Best Presentation Award.
